Tonight was a huge night. You know how
you wait for those special moments in your life that mark your journey?
My Mistress and i have had an ongoing
conversation about permanent collars for a couple of years now. Every year on
our anniversary, we renew our contract after making any changes that need to be
made. In the past 5 years some things have come and gone off the contract and
some things have stayed the same. Two years ago, we realized we were at the
point where we didn't need to make any changes.
In our discussions about permanent collars, Lily
Ma'am had said that when the time was right, she would present me with a
permanent collar. i added a request to this event. i grew up in a very
religious family studying the Bible. Some things have stayed with me in my
spiritual journey. One of those was the concept of slavery in the Old
Testament. Slaves could be bought and could earn their freedom. If a slave had
earned or been given their freedom, they had a choice to accept that freedom or
stay committed to their Master. One symbol of this permanent commitment was the
slave asking their Master to pierce their ear as a symbol of their commitment
and devotion. i asked Lily Ma'am to pierce my ear when she chose to give me a
permanent collar.
Tonight, She surprised me. We had a planned
Shadowhouse family dinner at M.M. & L.E.’s house. i was in a meeting with
two others in their home office when there was a knock at the office door.
Someone (i found out later it was spot) had
left my vest and boots with directions to take off my clothes (except for my
panties) and put on the boots & vest.
Then i was instructed to come quietly into the living room, find my
Mistress and put on her boots (it’s a ritual we do before any Leather
function). i had a suspicion that it was
the collaring ceremony and i was excited that She had chosen to include our
Leather family. What i did not expect was a room full of family and friends to
bear witness to this.
After i put Her boots on Her she had me read our
contract aloud for everyone to bear witness, and then she tied my arms to a
chair with my favorite rope. Wolfways
(who holds a special place in my heart) held me tightly while she pierced the
upper part of my right ear with one of Her needles and placed Her earring in
it.
i've known for years that i will always be Hers,
and i feel so blessed and honored that i have family who provided this special
night for us. i have amazing people in my life who have been there throughout
my journey. i am so happy they were able to see the beginning
of this next path.
